TRAVERTINE
Travertine is a type of transformed limestone, formed near limestone-rich regions or hot springs where water is saturated with calcium carbonate (CaCO₃). As the water cools and evaporates, rapid precipitation of calcium carbonate occurs, resulting in the formation of distinctive concentric or fibrous vein patterns.
With its naturally porous texture, slip resistance, and timeless appeal, travertine is widely used in flooring, wall cladding, facades, pool surrounds, and architectural projects with a classic European aesthetic.
